Our Story

Opened in 2004, The Sly Fox Tavern quickly became a Quincy landmark.

Husband and wife team, Gerry and Mary McKenna, started the tavern together and continue to run it as a family business. With a background in hotel management, opening the tavern was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for co-owner, Mary.

In 2018, The Sly Fox was briefly closed for a complete renovation of the bar and installation of a brand-new kitchen facility. Now, equipped with a full, modern kitchen Sly Fox Tavern is a great place for a casual and delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
